Breaking news -- Air France has booked us on the 5:30 flight (which is already expected to be delayed until around 6:30, but maybe it will leave on time). They are also giving us $10 vouchers for food in the airport. And the terminal is not at all crowded. So we have made the executive decision, with the support of the students, to cancel our conference room for the afternoon here at the hotel and move our operations to the airport terminal. Air France is going to check us in right away, then we can make ourselves at home in the comfortable airport terminal seating until we get hungry - for most that will be in a long time, since the kids just finished breakfast. We will relax until we hopefully start boarding somwhere between 4:30-5(ish). So no need for anyone to venture out onto the highway to bring us anything - we are all set (at least for now). And we will be through airport security, so you won't be able to get to us anyway. But thanks for all the offers of assistance!
I should have plenty of time this afternoon to post plenty of photos and maybe some video of our adventures so close and yet so far from home.
